The National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Banking Management (IIBM), Guwahati, is organizing a one-day Principals’ Conclave on the theme “Integration of Financial Education in School Curriculum” for the principals of North Eastern states. The conclave aims to sensitize principals on the importance of integrating financial education into the school curriculum, emphasizing its role as an essential life skill for the holistic development of students.
The inaugural session will be addressed by Shri Alok Chandra Jena, CEO of NCFE, Smt. Sushmita Phukan, Regional Director for North Eastern States, RBI, and Shri Eugene Emmanuel Karthak, Director of IIBM. Following the inaugural addresses, there will be thematic sessions led by officials from NCFE, RBI, and IIBM.
More than 50 principals from the North East Region are expected to attend this event, highlighting the importance of this initiative in promoting financial literacy and education across schools in the region.
