Smt Sumeet Kaur Kapoor joined PFRDA in 2011 and is currently serving as Executive Director. She has earlier been a Director on the Board of the National Centre for Financial Education . She has more than three decades of experience, working in the banking and Pension industry. She has represented PFRDA on various national and international forums including the World Bank and International organisation of Pension supervisors . She is a finance professional holding degrees in Economics Hons , LL.B, MBA from FMS, and Certificates from IIM-A, IIM-B and Toronto Centre.
Smt. Nisha Nambiar
Smt. Nisha Nambiar is Chief General Manager-in-charge of Financial Inclusion and Development Department of RBI. In her career span of over twenty-five years in the Reserve Bank, she has handled a variety of roles in areas such as currency management, banking and non-banking supervision, foreign exchange, among others.
Shri Pravesh Kumar
Shri Pravesh Kumar is the Chief General Manager at the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). He currently serves as the Head of Department for the Atal Pension Yojana (APY). With over 24 years of experience in Banking, Foreign Exchange, and the Pension sector, Shri Kumar has a comprehensive background in managing Central and State Government segments, supervising Pension Funds and Custodians, and regulating intermediaries, including registration and exit processes.
He holds several qualifications, including a B.Sc., an MBA from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), CAIIB from Indian Institute of banking and Finance, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from the National Institute of Banking Management (NIBM), Pune. His extensive experience and educational background position him as a knowledgeable leader in the financial sector.
Shri Alok Chandra Jena
Shri Alok Chandra Jena is the Chief Executive Officer of National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), responsible for implementation of the National Strategy for Financial Education.
Shri Jena has more than 35 years of experience in rural finance, microfinance, financial inclusion and financial literacy. He is the former Chief General Manager of NABARD, where he worked as head of Finance and Strategic Investment Department and Financial Inclusion & Banking Technology Department. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in developing various Risk Management Frameworks for NABARD and contributed to the formulation of in-house committees for product development aimed at enhancing Financial Inclusion in rural areas.
Shri Jena holds a Post Graduate degree in Mathematics and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and FRM from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
