As per NSFE: 2020-25, NCFE has been mandated with the task of developing financial education content and integrating the same with the school curriculum. Further, the OECD Recommendation on Financial Literacy encourages governments to “Take measures to develop financial literacy from the earliest possible age. NCFE is conducting a One Day Principals Conclave at Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on 3rd December 2024 (Tuesday). This conclave aims to sensitise the school principals about the importance of Financial Education in school curriculum and to provide a common platform for sharing of experiences and thoughts for scaling up the activity. Apart from the heads of various schools, Officers from the Financial Sector Regulators will participate in the conclave.
