The National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) is organizing a one-day Conclave on Business Correspondents with the theme “Leveraging Business Correspondents for Last Mile Financial Education.” The inaugural session will feature esteemed dignitaries from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and NCFE.
Following the inaugural session, there will be insightful sessions led by officials from State Bank of India (SBI), NABARD, Axis Bank, and the Business Correspondent Federation of India (BCFI). These sessions will focus on the theme of the conclave and aim to enhance the role of Business Correspondents in disseminating financial education across the country through a collaborative approach.
Participants from various public sector banks, private sector banks and small finance banks will attend the conclave. This conclave represents a significant opportunity to leverage the services of Business Correspondents to ensure that financial education reaches the last mile, fostering financial literacy and inclusion nationwide.
